The Position

The Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) is seeking to appoint an experienced and contemporary leader to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Our members are at the heart of the organisation and this critical role will lead the business strategy and operations to drive positive change for Victorian farmers.

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for leading and managing the business including maintaining strong financial performance, developing membership benefits, broadening the service offering, managing governance and meeting performance targets. The incoming CEO will provide strategic advice to the Board and will represent and advocate the interests of the VFF’s members and the industry as a whole.

The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a proven track record of leading complex organisations. Skilled in implementing strategy, you will display a hands-on approach and the ability to engage with a diverse range of people and groups. You will have excellent business acumen coupled with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Exhibiting superior interpersonal, advocacy and negotiation skills, you will be capable of enhancing a positive organisational culture and have a strong alignment to the organisation’s values. Relevant post graduate tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
