The Position

Ambulance Victoria is seeking to appoint a highly talented, driven and dynamic leader to the position of Diversity and Inclusion Lead to develop, implement and review the organisation's strategy and approach to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Reporting to the Director Organisational development, the Diversity and Inclusion Lead will be responsible for consulting with leaders across the organisation to integrate inclusiveness goals and strategies into all business practices and processes. Fostering an engaged, diverse, inclusive, competent and trained workforce that strives for high performance is a key priority of the organisation.

The successful candidate will be a hands on leader, with experience in diversity and inclusion and human resource management, ideally with a background in the public sector. You will be a highly experienced professional, and possess a track record of delivering outcomes and being held to account, coupled with the ability to hit the ground running. Equipped with insight-driven thinking of people and organisations, you will have a natural passion for all things people and for increasing workforce inclusiveness, engagement and performance. Ready to make a career defining move, you will be action-oriented and results driven. Appropriate tertiary qualifications desired.
