Chief Executive
Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA), Melbourne, Victoria
  • Lead a prestigious specialty medical College
  • Further continuous improvement of professional capacity
  • Champion the delivery of superior education and training

The Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and talented Chief Executive to continue the momentum created by the incumbent, who is retiring after distinguished service to the College.

Reporting to the College Board, the Chief Executive will lead the Executive Team to drive the continuous improvement of professional development and specialist qualifications for registered medical practitioners in the areas of medical management and leadership. With a proven capacity for strategic and analytical thinking coupled with the demonstrated ability to develop and inspire high performing teams, the appointee will be the voice and face of RACMA to members, regulatory bodies, government and other specialty medical Colleges in Australasia and internationally.

The successful candidate will possess a broad and deep knowledge of the health sector, including a sound understanding of the specialty medical college sector and best practice trends within health services management. The capacity to demonstrate a contemporary approach to education and training is highly desirable. In addition, the appointee will have a clear understanding of the not-for-profit sector and will utilise their strong commercial acumen to grow and sustain the College into the future.

For this Melbourne based role, a Bachelor’s degree is required and a formal management qualification is advantageous.
