The Deputy Director will be a strong, and experienced operational manager with the ability to play a key role as part of a management team. The role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated in a variety of relevant settings, coupled with knowledge of the issues currently affecting ELICOS and international education.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the management of a complex unit with a diverse and comprehensive set of functions and significant resources. Well-developed leadership, coaching and mentoring skills will be essential as will be the ability to operate with a strong degree of cultural sensitivity. Extensive TESOL experience will be key.

International experience and a familiarity with the peak industry bodies and compliance requirements related to ELICOS will be highly regarded.
